How to Play Cat Battles
Cat Battles is easy to pick up but has real depth once you start chaining grabs, kicks and abilities. This beginner guide covers the controls, the three game modes, and tips to win more bouts.
The objective
You spawn in a raised ring with up to 9 other players. The only way to win is to knock every other cat out of the ring — fall off yourself and you're out. Each bout you survive or win earns coins, which you spend on crates for furs and gear.

Game modes
Classic
Free-for-all. Every cat for itself — last one in the ring wins.
2 Teams
Split into two teams and fight to eliminate the other side.
4 Teams
Four smaller teams battle for control of the ring.
Beginner tips
- Stay near the center. Most knockouts happen at the edge, so fight toward the middle and force opponents outward.
- Chain grab into lift. Grab with Right Click, then Lift with Shift to toss opponents off the edge for quick eliminations.
- Save your ability for the edge. An ability used near the rim is worth far more than one used in the middle.
- Watch your footing. Awareness of where the edge is matters more than landing hits.
- Redeem your free codes. Grab the free coin codes before your first bout to start unlocking furs faster.
